Back und Rostas kulturelle Diplomatie-Mission geht mit einer weiteren chinesischen Delegation weiter.

As we have been doing for more than half a decade, this summer we continued our international cultural diplomacy activities with a delegation from Asia. This time in June we hosted museum professionals from South-East China.

Following the tradition of the past years, in 2024 we organise scientific and cultural professional meetings in Europe for several delegations from different regions of China. At the beginning of the year, we took a group of musicologists to visit a leading scientific researcher at the Museum of Fine Arts in Vienna, Austria. This summer we brought a delegation from a renowned archaeological museum to visit their Hungarian counterparts -- said István Back, one of the founders of Back and Rosta.

The archaeological delegation from the province of Zhejiang, in southeast China, are staff from the Liangzhu Centre for the remains of the largest and earliest walled city in ancient China. The institute is a prominent cultural and heritage protection organisation in the province's most important city, Hangzhou, and its experts have also attended several important meetings in Budapest.

During their mid-June visit, the delegation went to the National Museum and participated in the Chinese-Hungarian Civilisation Dialogue Salon, where they discussed the development of their own research base and opportunities for Hungarian-Chinese cooperation. The event, named the Liangzhu Culture Promotion Conference, was held at the Hilton Hotel in Budapest, and attracted a large crowd.

After the conference, the Liangzhu Centre staff members visited several World Heritage sites in Hungary and at the end of their visit, they addressed interest in continuing the scientific meetings in the future. All this would hardly have been possible without Back and Rosta's more than half a decade of cultural diplomacy across regions, continents and cultures.

Our company is in contact with a number of leading institutions and cultural centres in the world, thanks to our well-known Magic Wall, an interactive digital video display used in more than 450 museums around the world -- said István Back, founder of the company, who is also responsible for the Asian market, who emphasised the company's cultural diplomacy mission:

Over the past decade, we have been involved in the organisation of dozens of events: conferences, seminars, successful exchange programmes and training courses for international academic delegations. More and more people know that Back and Rosta not only excels in innovative technical developments, but also in the organisation of prestigious scientific activities.
